The Homestead wasn’t built in a day. And it won’t be restored in one either.
One of the oldest homes in the Okanagan Valley, this historic property on Camp Road is undergoing a complete, three-floor transformation that goes far beyond renovation. Stripped to the studs, re-engineered from the bones up, and brought fully into compliance with today’s codes, this project demands the kind of craftsmanship and care that most builders never get the chance to deliver. Two massive steel beams carry the load of a reimagined main floor. Interior walls have been moved. Mechanical systems have been rebuilt. Everything that couldn’t be seen before is now being done right.
And yet, none of the soul is being lost.
The Process
A world-renowned interior designer from Tennessee is leading the vision, threading heritage and history through every design decision. The finishes will be rich, warm, and timeless. Wood will carry the interior the way it always should have. Classic details will be honored, not erased. This is a home that has earned its character over more than a century, and the renovation will make sure that character carries forward for another hundred years.
